CALL AND SMS FREE WITH IBIBO

Alright everybody, vacation is over and now back to regular life. But when you get back from a vacation and you hear some good news, you don't feel sad that your vacation is over, you regain your charm. I just cam to know about some real good stuff and I am going to share that with you today.
Are you a member of ibibo.com? If not, be one now. Now you can talk to your friends on their mobile for FREE using iBibo. Yes, absolutely free. You can make free calls to your friend anywhere in India. You don't have to pay any STD charges or local charges. Its totally free.
So how can you do that?
Once you create your ibibo profile, you need to enable the call for free service. Once you enable the service and if your friend also has enabled the service, you can click on "Call for free" button on your friend's profile. Once you click on that button, you will get a call from a private number. Once you pick it up, then it will connect to your friend's mobile number and there you are, talking to your friend for free. So technically, you both are getting an incoming call which is free anyways.
One thing about this service is, you can keep your number hidden while talking to your friends. But that makes me think about the misuse and abusive use of this feature. Can you call any person who has this service enabled on ibibo? Or you can call only to those who are in your friend's list? I am not sure about that. That is a question to iBiBo team.
They are currently offering 10 mins free call to other registered users with maximum 2mins for one call; that makes up to maximum of 5 calls monthly, free!!
Now, the hack. (Taken From Voip Guides)
1) Register another account in cafe. (You can register as many account as you want, the email id should be different)
2) De-register your mobile from your first account. And register it here. (Ibibo allows this!!)3) Call your fiends free for another 10mins. :-)
4) Do this as many times as you want.
5) Every month all your accounts will be recharged with 10 free minutes. So you don't have to create new accounts to call your friends if you have many accounts created the previous month!!
e.g: If you have registered 10 accounts, you get 100 free minutes every month!!
From the hack, you can understand that this hack will only work if you live in India. However we know a huge number of readers here wanted this free calls solution for India to India free calls.

While looking back to VOIP Guide, we noticed there are many VOIP providers simply missed out in the Archives. Today we look at one of this interesting Free VOIP service and cheap international calling service called Tokiva.
Tokiva VOIP had many issues when they launched about 6-8 months back. We tried their service back then and noticed that there was a serious quality of service issue. I guess they got enough feedback from their customers to realise that they need to improve their VOIP service and quality.
It seems Tokiva has improved a lot from where they started. We tried to use their service and it works good. The best part is Tokiva is a Phone to Phone VOIP service which gives users even more flexibility to make cheap international calls.
You must be wondering if Tokiva is a cheap international VOIP provider how on earth I would make Free International calls? Well, Tokiva has a unique referral system. The more you invite the more referral credits you would get. Of course, you can use these credits to make totally free international calls. Signup to Tokiva and make Free Calls.
There is a catch. If you are not a paid customer, Tokiva will only allow upto 3 minutes per free international call and then disconnect the call. You can try calling again. I guess you can only make 3 calls in a day. You should check on this yourself. However if you are a paid customer, there are no restrictions. You can also transfer credits to other users etc.

Jaxtr-A Free VOIP Phone for Bloggers-Free Beta Invites

Today I got a invite from Jaxtr for beta testing. Unfortunately, they didnt know that i belong to singapore and this service is currently not available here. :-)
Never mind, but i guess this service is great especially for bloggers when you want to interact with your visitors and even for webmasters when the advertisers want to talk to you directly rather than emailing you. This is a great new way of communicating and adding that interaction to the website/blog. As a webmaster or blogger, you very well know the importance of interaction with the users. I make a point that i reply to all my emails and comments posted on the blog. Although, i hardly miss any, it's still a good idea to provide a directcall function.
One of the few benefits, I can tell without even using the service is masking your own number for callers. Caller will never get to know your real number, they will be calling you from the little widget you put on your website/blog. Additional, features include blocking annoying users. I am sure you will find loads of other competitors who would love to annoy you.lol...just block them.
This is definately a must have for all bloggers/webmasters. Jaxtr currently gives 100 minutes of free incoming calls per month. Facility to forward your calls to Voice mail.

EvaPhone is a free voip calling service to make totally free international calls to over 40 countries. EvaPhone is simple, no registration, no VOIP softphones to download. Just go to EvaPhone and make free calls. EvaPhone offers these free calls in lieu of Advertisements. Every time you make a call, they play about 10-15 secs ad before your call begins. Once the ad ends, your calls is immediately connected.
Lets see how we can use EvaPhone.
